Today 2/11 we just completed our first Club meeting of the year. Thanks for coming and supporting our 2012 season by joining the Club. We will be installing the new layout soon and will need lots of help to get it done.

Emery Park RC Club is now preparing for the 2012 race season! The track will be leveled soon in order to ready the surface for the new layout to be installed. EPRC is working hard to deliver many improvements to the facility and racing program, including the possibility of adding lights to race at night this summer.

Our first Club race is set for March 31st with the annual "Free For All" set for April 7th. Also the dates for the 2012 Nitro Knockout are set for June 16th and 17th. Please check ...

SCHEDULE UPDATE
In order to repair and renovate the track to have it in tip top shape for the Nitro Knockout, the previously scheduled races on May 28th and June 4th have been cancelled. During renovations the track will be closed for practice from May 27th to June 10th at which point it will reopen for the Nitro Knockout. Due to the downpour and thunderstorms, the track will be closed this week 4/25 through 4/29 for maintenance and preparation for the Stateline Showdown race that will be held on Saturday 4/30. Because we are expecting large turnouts on a weekly basis, Emery Park R/C Club will now start its races at 12:00 noon on Saturdays instead of 1:00pm. This will ensure out of towners have a chance to get home at a decent hour and ensure we never have to worry about racing in the dark.

Also, the Club is working feverishly to create an opportunity to install lights at the track so that during the middle of summer we can race in cooler weather at night.

COLD!!!

That is one word that best describes the day of racing, yet we had 25+ entries. If you made it through the day, you truly earned the title of "Die Hard". Thanks to everyone who came out and braved the cold and wet weather to race.

CONGRATULATIONS!

Emery Park R/C Club's first event was a huge success! Thanks to everyone who put in tireless hours of effort over the last month to bring it all together!

About 25 entries for the first weekend was not bad considering the threat of rain leading up to the day and the rain delays during the day. However, we got it done!

This Saturday March 19th will be Emery Park R/C Club's season opener for 2011! The Club would like to give special thanks to everyone who came out over the last 2 weekends and worked tirelessly to complete the track. As much as we would like to list names to recognize each and every one of you, there were so many different people that we would fear missing someone. Having said that, the support and turnout during our last 2 weekends was nothing short of impressive!
